"This review is from an employee standpoint: This is to be one of the most unprofessional and unorthodox companies that I’ve ever worked for. Charlie Hendrick is one of the most judgmental, unprofessional, messy and arrogant individuals that I’ve ever encountered in the workplace. For an Agent who doesn’t actually know how to operate the computer nor writes any policies for business he’s very disrespectful, nasty and without his wife’s Brenda’s help he would barely know how to pass the CE courses. Charlie doesn’t follow the rules legally when it comes to selling insurance. Charlie lacks decent leadership skills, commonsensical skills, communication skills, empathy, respect for others especially women and problems solving skills when it comes to dealing with people , he literally only grasps knowing how to “get a sale”. He, his wife and staff spend many wasted hours of the day trash talking customers, especially if they’re not African American. Charlie has been told on numerous occasions by his customers on how his staff disrespects his customers and he turns the blind eye. Charlie lacks accountability and has this God complex about hisself and when he’s not walking through the office yelling and disrespecting his staff, calling his wife loudly out of her name when he’s throwing a temper tantrum, he’s constantly bragging about his family and when someone sets boundaries to let him know that they don’t appreciate and will not tolerate him yelling and disrespect them, he gets more disrespectful. Charlie Hendrick is a narcissistic sociopath that doesn’t care how he treats people unless there is an monetary incentive. The amount of unnecessary stress and anxiety that came from employment within his company is ridiculous and I had several breakdowns. It’s sad that these so called God-fear, church going individuals over the age of 50 that literally trash talk Charlie Hendrick and his family while hoping that they’ll eventually get a raise . Charlie Hendrick and his team gives State Farm a bad name and he doesn’t represent the community, like his staff says, he needs to retire!!!"

"If you’re a fan of “in person” type appointments instead of parking lot handling of business then this business is not for you. Regardless of vaccination status and wearing an additional mask, you will not be let in. Also, if you require printed documentation, know that you will be out of luck there as well and have to find a way to do it yourself which is is rough if you’re in the middle of moving. End state, I’m disappointed as they use to be about the customer."

"My experience with this agent and his associates has been horrible for most of the time with State Farm. Most recently, the online system stated that there was no bill due and now, out of nowhere, my bill is double. When calling in to inquire about this, the associate stated that it was a system glitch. I asked her why weren't clients notified, she stated "I guess we/they were hoping that you would call in." Can we say UNPROFESSIONAL!!! As a longtime client, this type of treatment is awful, especially during the time of a pandemic. I would NOT recommend this agent or his staff."

"I have been with this agency since I moved to Virginia 9 years ago. They make you feel like family. Even if I found a cheaper rate somewhere else, I wouldn't switch."
